I am fundraising for my 2024 election campaign as the Green Party candidate in the Blackrock Local Electoral Area for Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. Election campaigns are expensive with average expenses of €5,500. Your help makes a big impact. I would really appreciate any support that you can offer me. 

 

The fund raising will largely support the following expenses:
1. Leaflets, letters and online ads to reach out to people to introduce my campaign;

2. Posters during election time; and,

3. Other campaign activities such as public meetings and information events.

 

Important laws around Irish political donations:

- Donations must be from Irish residents or Irish citizens living abroad.

- Donations cannot exceed €1,000 from any individual person in a calendar year.

- Anonymous donations cannot exceed €100.

 

PayPal donations are not anonymous, I can see all donor names but these will not be made public. I will be in touch for your address for donations over €100.

 

By donating, you confirm that you are an Irish resident or an Irish citizen living abroad and that you have not exceeded the maximum permissible donation of €2,500 to the Green Party this year. If I’m unsure, I may have to get in touch with you or return the donation.
